Meet the Jesters Family at Bicknacre Nursery

Background

Hello, I’m Teresa and I joined the Jesters family after working at various nurseries and pre-schools for the previous four years as an agency worker. I loved working at Jesters so much that I decided to join the team.

The Jesters Family

I am currently working in the Bicknacre Baby unit, and have progressed to Deputy Room Leader. I am passionate about helping my key children progress their learning and development.

Outside work

I spend most of my free time doing various volunteering from tutoring to being a Brownie Leader as part of GirlGuiding. I am also studying part time BSC (hons) Geography and Environmental Science, as I generally love learning and hope to gain a more sustainable and environmentally friendly lifestyle.

My hobbies include; reading, hiking, wild swimming and camping.

Favourite children’s book

This is a super hard question for me as I love reading, especially books and poems that rhyme. But if I had to choose, I would say Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss. As the moral of the story is; if you try new things, you might like them. I believe it is super important that children get to participate in a wide range of new experiences.
