Meet the Jesters Family at Bicknacre Out of School Clubs

Hello my name is Chris, I have over 16 years experience working with children as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school. I have a CACHE Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification as well as a National Occupational Standard level 3 qualification in Developing and Supporting Key Stage 1 and 2 children.

The Jesters Family

At Jesters Bicknacre I work with every age group in each room. I love seeing the children thrive through play. I particularly like seeing the children’s speech development from a few simple words to full sentences. I like working at Bicknacre because of its rural setting and every day is different.

Outside work

I am married with 2 grown up sons. My hobbies include cycling, walking and travel, I generally love being outside.

Favourite children’s book

As a child my favourite books were the Paddington Bear stories by Michael Bond. The reason is because it was one of the first books I read on my own- I was bought a trilogy for Christmas and it turned me into a bookworm as a child.
