Meet the Jesters Family at Beaulieu Nursery & Pre-School

Background

My name is Tegan, I have worked in childcare for over ten years in nursery and school settings.

I was born and raised in sunny South Africa and moved to England with my wonderful husband and beautiful daughter in 2020.

The Jesters Family

I first joined Jesters in October 2021, then took a four month post at a primary school to expand my SEN knowledge, returning ‘home’ to Jesters in June 2022.

I have a deep love for children. I find their excitement and zest for life a thing to behold and I relish watching them learn and grow, Helping them on their journey is a privilege. But more over, I’m constantly fascinated and grateful for lessons they unknowingly teach me.

Outside work

Outside of Jesters I spend time with my family exploring. I love baking and watching documentaries.

Favourite children’s book

My favourite children’s book is Enid Blyton’s: Tales from the Toybox. It’s a collection on short stories about toys who get into mischief at night. It’s magical and has themes of kindness, honesty and friendship.
