Background
Hello, I’m Lottie. I have a Level 4 qualification in childcare and I have worked within the childcare sector for 10 years now. I completed my qualification in college and then went straight into a childcare setting for work. I love seeing the children in my care develop, grow and become their own characters. Working in childcare is very rewarding job, as I play apart of that child’s life by seeing them develop and become the child they are when at nursery.
The Jesters Family
My role within the Jesters family has progressed from Practitioner, to Room Leader of Squirrels. I enjoy working for Jesters as the whole team are welcoming and friendly. The opportunities, encouragement and support given to improve and progress are brilliant.
Outside work
In my spare time I love hanging out with family and friends. I am also a big Disney fan, so I love all things Disney. In my spare time, I like going to concerts or the theatre with love ones.
Favourite children’s book
I have a few different favourite children’s books but if I had to choose, it would be The Tiger Who Came To Tea by Judith Kerr as I like the fact that in the story it talks about a tiger and that he comes to have tea and meets new people and shows that animals are just like humans. It also allows you to talk about different meals and drinks the children might have at home and what they have when they go out for meals with their families. It also promotes that we may not all be the same but we all need to take care and look after each other.
