Background
Hi, my name is Katy and I am the Deputy Curriculum Manager at Jesters Beaulieu. I have worked in education since 2010 and I am passionate about creating memorable moments for children.
The Jesters Family
I joined the Jesters Family in April 2025 after relocating back to Essex after my maternity leave. I started as Room Leader and have now progressed to Deputy Curriculum Manager. Previously, I worked as a Primary School Teacher and now love supporting others in planning and delivering meaningful and purposeful lessons.
Outside work
I love spending time with my family, walking our dog and exploring new villages and seaside towns. I regularly visit my son’s family in Spain and love exploring and learning about different cultures.
Favourite children’s book
My favourite children’s book is The BFG by Roald Dahl. It was one of the first books that made me love reading. My favourite book to read to my little boy is The Bellybutton Book by Sandra Boynton as it always makes us laugh!
